Ok, the valve was nothing big, the adjustment backed itself ALL the way off, and I'm not kidding this happened almost instantly, which was a first for me...

SO, while the spindle sits is penetrating oil for the second week now, which by the way I need that name for the guy that has the pullers for $35????? Now, onto the carbs. What all does a person need to switch from the flat tops to the smaller rounds? Is it just the throttle linkage? and if so does anybody have a set up for sale?

Never had any experience with flat tops so i can't say what all you need to convert, probably not much though. I have a spare center linkage that you can have. E-mail me if you want it.

I think that all you need is the center linkage , but not positive , my 73 had the round tops on it when I bought it. However there is a guy in hillsboro that had the whole setup intake carbs air cleaner and linkage . I had it sold for him to a guy in Finland , but at the last moment he backed out . Ztherapy has your info. and your product.The linkage must match the carb type and there are a few out there.Your air cleaner won't transfer over.You'll love the new carbs!! Daniel
