Long-nosed 350z

Opinions?

Only one pic to go on, but I like it better than the regular "toad". Now, if only they could keep the look and get it to lose 600 lbs.

From the side it kinda reminds me of a porsche. It looks ok from the front.

Bt i think i like the other *Toad* version better

Now if that car had the C6 Vette rear end and weighed 2600 pounds I'd be all over it.

Nope, still don't care for it. Don't like the way the back-end (from that side shot) rises up. Looks like it was backed into a light pole. By extending the length, it makes the nob on roof even more pronounced. If they would just make the roof line flatter and blend into the rear (like our Z's) I might enjoy the view. JMO

The long-nosed Z was created for 'testing' purposes and isn't a production model. I found a magazine with the article between flights one day. I'll look for it.

The article says this "Type E" was made to allow the car ot enter the All Japan Grand Touring Championship. Nismo made a copy and you can now buy the bodykit from them... they say. The nose is a Nismo-option. What magazine said it isn't production??

The article also said that Nissan made FIVE of them to homologate for the JGTC. (all sold in Japan). That may qualify as "production" for JGTC homologation purposes, but for the rest of the world it surely does not. Even if the Nismo parts are available to modify your own 350Z, it isn't a production model for the NA, or OZ market.
