I always wondered if you could put a solid rocket booster on a Z but little did I know there are members here that can actually fricken do it!

Haven't you ever heard about the Darwin Award for the guy that acquired, who knows how, some JATO rockets and attatched them to his car? :stupid: :finger: :dead:

http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin1995-04.html

Anyways, if you read further, you'll find it that is simply an urban legend.

Ok well my turn ater reading all that.

I'm a student doing Computer Science and Multimedia Software Development. I have learnt alot of cool stuff over my years.

I would like to either specialise in game programming and design or webpage development and design.

However there are other areas that I am interested in such as networking and 3d animation.

I work part time in a call centre which I hate but am putting up with it for now as I'm almost finished with Uni for a year or so.

I have been contemplating doing mechanical engineering since I love cars so much but I figure I'll finish my degree first and see how things pan out.

Cars are in my blood. Born in Detroit, Michigan. Father worked for General Motors. Started restoring Z's in 1982 during High School. Graduated college in San Diego with a Finance degree. After odd restaurant jobs, so I could restore Z's during the day, I now sell cars at a VW dealership and have my own dealership. This way I can buy parts real cheap. On my days off I am finishing my last Z, a 1970. Having a baby in Nov. Will not have any more time. I am sad, but very happy at the same time. Rick.

I'm in the AF going on 13 years now currently stationed at Yokota AB ouside of Tokyo. I'm the Commander of a small liaison flight to the Japanese Air Self Defense Force where we work in the Japanese equivalent of NORAD's Cheyenne mountain deconflicting US flying activity with Japanese air sovereignty concerns. Before that I was a back ender (so to speak) on JSTARS and AWACS. I'll probably go back to JSTARS next summer to make my wife happy (family) and be reunited with my Z (me happy) which I foolishly put in storage instead of bringing with me. Ironically enough there's a Japanese place right outside the base gate that has three hot HS30's on average for sale. (I'll get some pictures posted one of these days)

Good grief,

All these highly edumacated types on this thread !!!

As I mentioned on another thread, my education was in the school of hard knocks in the inner city suburbs of Sydney.

Rick.

:devious: :devious:

That's a far better education than I got. Sydney would be a great place to get it too.

Ok Don´t laugh. I have a business selling parts for MGs, Triumphs, Jags & Minis.

I got into Datsuns as I was tired of fixing the same things on my Bristish classic over & over again !
