Buy a regular parts store hose, and get the dress up brading I've seen in the autoparts stores to slip over it. It comes close.

What about cleaning up the old hoses as best you can then applying some black shoe polish? Will boot polish last? What's the best way to get these things back to life?

Yea, whatever color suits your fancy, color coordinated with the rest of the engine bay. You can't go wrong with black. Make sure you weave it so the Frederick's label shows just under the hose clamp.

Chris you can start showing the "Princess" in the Original Unrestored Class at many local shows around here

Heck, I don't have a style. I'm spending most of my time upgrading the 280Z to the neglect of the 240Z. Maybe it's mostly that I'm dreading cutting out and welding in more metal to the poor old thing. Ah well, we'll see over the next 5 years or so!
