August 22, 200420 yr comment_92200 In the morning e-mail from the winning bidder;"Just won an NOS lower cloth wrapped radiator hose for my 240Z on eBay. The find of the month! Paid about $140 which is quite reasonable. Now I need to find the upper hose. For Syracuse..."There you have it. That's what is going on. If you want to show.....And we're part of all this, you know. When we are at a show and looking at a stock Z, what's the first thing we notice in the engine bay? August 22, 200420 yr comment_92206 Rick, Handsome buck, aren't I? Not far from reality. Look a bit like a young Alfred E. Newman. It's a Mad world. Wish I had the spare change to be able to make my 240 all original with $120 hoses, but I started with a 73 car that had a 71 block. No chance of matching numbers. Would have been fun to do a few shows. I'll have to settle for my hybrid and enjoy the ride. Victor. August 22, 200420 yr comment_92207 Question, from the factory or on a brand new Z (if you guys can remember), were the hoses black or did they actually have a brownish or dark brown tint? The one in the ebay add looks brown and/or faded. The one that went on ebay definitely looked very faded to me.Andrew Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12933-hoses-are-getting-really-expensive/?&page=2#findComment-92220 Share on other sites
