August 21, 200420 yr comment_92149 I don't have a brand recommendation. I just found something at the parts store that was labelled as being High Temperature Silicone Brake Grease. It was almost clear (slightly yellowish) and came in a plastic tube.PS I don'tthink it has to be "High Temperature" but that was what was printed on the tube I bought) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12934-polyeurethane-bushings-to-squeek-or-not-squeek/?&page=2#findComment-92149 Share on other sites
August 22, 200420 yr comment_92195 For regular rubber you would use a spray bottle with a dilution of 1/4 gram or somthing like that of dry graphite to the whole bottle dilutted with water and alcahol. when the water and booze drys away it leaves the dry lubticant (graphite) in place. For the kit we are talking about way back when Motorsport used tell you to wrap them in Teflon tape. I don't have a radio in the beast And the only noise I hear is the wrong offset rims rubbing the fenders. Back in the day the teflon tape was an old school trick to use when harder urethan bushings came out. :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12934-polyeurethane-bushings-to-squeek-or-not-squeek/?&page=2#findComment-92195 Share on other sites
