The price seems very reasonable for this Fairlady Z:

This is a bluebird, right?:

I was not aware that these Bluebirds were imported to NA. Is this an early Bluebird 1600sss? I am slowly learning about the bluebirds. I like the 1970-73 the most.

zhead240, I never was a fan of that color green but after looking at those pictures my mind has been changed! That's a sweet car. Price seems right if the car looks as good as the pics. Do go check it out. Can you say road trip :)

Vicky

i felt the same way about orange. thought orange was only for pumpkins, but the more i seen the more i liked. now it's one of my favorite colors for a zed.

The "Bluebird", being advertised as a "Fair Lady" is a PL411, powered by the J-1300 engine. The more desirable "SSS", (But not badged as such in the US) is the RL411, with the R-16, twin SU's. Both of these cars sold moderately well in the US (compared to the total import market in the 60's). They were not Badged as Blubirds, Mr. K saw to that. Instead they were "Datsun 1300" and "Datsun 1600". There's a Yahoo group that's quite active (and a good bunch of people) for these cars.

Hey zhead240,

That car can't be more than 5 miles from where I live. I can try to arrange to look at it for you if you want. Give me a PM with your phone and email info. I can take some pictures of areas of concern and send you an honest opinion.

Let me know.

Marty
