Is there a way to test the ignition module other than have it to install it to the new dizzy and to the car? August 26, 200420 yr comment_92866 There most likely is a test that the dealer can do with there testing equipment. Why dont you just plug it in and start the engine. Is this a spair module for you or are you just now installing the ignition ? Do you have a 12volt coil as will ? October 14, 200519 yr comment_141772 According to the Mitchels manual the IC or ignition unit as they call it should read aprox 400 OHMS across the two leads give or take 10%.Hope that helps.
