I feel stupid :stupid: but after the photo you posted of where the marks were on yours, I went out and low and behold there they where so... I checked both the old and new strut tubes and they were the same...(B). After doing that I put it all back together cuz I had it apart again :stupid: and made sure that everything was seated right and...it works  I have to assume at this point that the bearings and seals weren't seated properly the first time :stupid: which was causing the drag making it rotate very difficult. But as I said she is working great now. :D

David, glad it worked out. I used to be a ski bum in Jackson, Wyoming is some beautiful country.

I'm just guessing that the first time you assembled the axel you tried to "pull" the inner bearing into it's seat with the axel and nut. Correct?

I'm also gyessing that the second time you assembled you "Seated" inner bearing then pulled the axel through seated inner. Correct?

I just assumed that inner bearing got slightly "cocked" which caused inner bearing to bind while trying to turn off axis.

panchovisa...I thought I had it all seated first but...obviously that wasn't the case. I also had the inner seal slightly "cocked" at first which didn't help either :stupid: I'm just glad it's all back together and working. The southeast corner of Wyoming isn't as nice as the northwest part. I just like the Mountains over the plains.
