August 31, 200420 yr comment_93335 Try Warren Potter at All-Z Parts in Sydney, new phone number 02 9476 0966. He should be able to provide genuine Nissan replacements.Hope this helps out, let us know how you get on.RegardsJoseph Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13028-front-door-seal/#findComment-93335 Share on other sites
August 31, 200420 yr comment_93347 You could try these guys. I know that they arent the cheapest for some makes, but have no idea how they compare for z stuff. Of course nissan would probably be easiest, but would definitely not be cheapest.http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Datsun%201969-78%20240Z-260Z.htmSorry, I dont know how to do a link fancy like. August 31, 200420 yr comment_93348 That particular bit of rubber, Scotts won't have. They specialize in selling rubber mouldings by the metre or part there of.Try your local Nissan dealer as it would only be available in Aus as a OEM part.PS keep us updated with your search, if you do find a source let us all now...MOM Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13028-front-door-seal/#findComment-93348 Share on other sites

August 31, 200420 yr Author comment_93357 Thanks guys,Dad went to the local nissan dealer before we bought the car to see what sort of parts are available and according to them they can only supply mechanical bits as they dont stock and the manufacturer doesn't make any body parts (including rubbers) anymore.I'll try the other guys and let you all know how it goes.Cheers,TOm. August 31, 200420 yr comment_93363 Mate, as Joseph said, Try Warren at All Z Parts. Web: www.allzparts.com.au Email: allzparts@aol.com.au I live at Yeppoon, on the coast about 45 klms. out of Rockhampton, C.Q. I've dealt with Warren for just on three years now and, while he tends to be a little slow at times, has so far been reliable and reasonably priced. I can't say the same for others I've dealt with closer to home. I'm sure that he would be able to help. He REALLY knows Zeds. Tell him I sent you. You won't get any special treatment from him but I might next time I place an order Rick. August 31, 200420 yr comment_93411 I suggest that your Nissan dealer is telling you lies (or is mis informed badly). I have bought several "body" parts from my local Nissan dealership including several rubber items.RegardsJoseph Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13028-front-door-seal/#findComment-93411 Share on other sites

September 1, 200420 yr comment_93455 Yair Tom,Once again I agree with Joseph. I have sourced several items from the local dealer. I was even told that they could supply the rubber strips for the bumpers. Price was pretty steep though.Wouldn't surprise me at all if Warren's price was cheaper than Nissan's.Rick.
