Yes, a lot of eBayers do try to do that....................BUT

Your statement about shipping being a buck or two more is VERY FAR from reality.

I just sold an item to a gentleman in Brooklin, Ontario Canada and my cost to ship an insured 1 pound package to him is almost $16 USD and it will arrive in about a week. I can send the same package to anywhere in the USA (using the same shipping service and insurance) for under $7 USD and it will arrive in 2-3 days. And I don't have to screw around with customs documents either.

International shipping is a Pain in the arse for both Buyer and Seller.

Thanks for that info..I go to Buffalo NY alot and often have to ship stuff back to Canada, and only usually pay about 15%-25% more. I shouldnt have spoken for the rest of the U.S.. As far as Customs goes...I ALWAYS get charged extra here when I get my package..nobodys fault except my government. I am seriously thinking of using a friends U.S. address to get stuff shipped to and just picking it up when I go across. A co-worker restores old Chevy's and he says he saves a ton of money that way.

i need the hatch here in corpus christi i can drive up anget it or have a buddy bring it down

The hatch is still available, please take a look at the pix so that you know it's condition. Then shoot me another PM or email and we'll work it out. It will be a bare hatch with no glass even though the pix show the glass still in it.

i did look at the pictures after i posted and the hatch is no better condition than my own, thankyou anyway but im sure there are other odds and end pieces ill probably need so ill look forward to buisness with you soon.

I was afraid of that. Ironically enough this parts car came from Taft...I'm sure you know where that is since it's only 30 miles or so from you.

I took a look at the pix of the part you need. Are you still looking for one and did you really want to drive down here to pick it up? I'm about 1000 miles from Cedar Rapids (my in-laws live there) so I know about the drive...

If you are still looking and want to come get it I will go take a look and shoot a couple pix of mine so you can see the if you want it.

Hey!

sorry about the slow reply.

You think you could take a few pictures for me?

How much would you want for the part?

I wouldn't personally mind driving down to get it sometime, but I'd have to use my parents car so it would really have to be up to them. and assuming they don't let me borrow the car, how much would you want for the part (and to take it off)? (i'd arrange/pay shipping)

Thanks for your time.
