But, actually I saw a need to add some extra effort in this area. Although it did take a few hours to research and develop, the effort wasn't that bad. There were a few comments about how we didn't take action to protect the images, so, I wanted to remedy that.

So far, I have done the following to protect your images in the gallery:

1) Right-click does not allow a user to save.

2) Copyright notice on the bottom of the web page.

3) Copyright notice pop-up when someone right-clicks.

4) Watermark on the images.

5) Anti-leeching code that does not allow other websites to display our images on their systems.

All it really does is hinder all of the honest people from saving an image to their own hard drive for private, non commercial viewing/reference. The dishonest person is still going to steal your precious image.

Yar, that's what I was trying to bring up in post #73 on page 5 and again in post #91 on page 7... But no one really seemed interested to discuss that except Steve (sjcurtis) and James (240znz) - thankyou guys.

Gav, Michael (mperdue) also noted the popup toolbar in post #80 on page 6. Perhaps you misunderstood though - I know I did!! (sorry Michael!) It is a loophole that will only stop the "naive computer user" as you said.
