Posted September 12, 200420 yr comment_94872 Was tooling around on the internet today and ran up on a possible source for "Braided" fuel & vacuum hose. I thought it might be of some interest to everyone as I've seen quite a few posts talking about "braided hose", how to get the "braided hose look"...etc...etc. I also found some telephone numbers and a url for their website....enjoy!!! I captured (cough cough) a few of the pages to give you an general idea of what all they have. Also saw some "Copper" uninsulated connectors that would work quite well on wiring repairs. webdawg1 Wurth USA 800-526-5228 Wurth California 800-346-4198 Wurth Florida 800-829-8316 Wurth Illinois 800-999-8784 Wurth Texas 800-987-8489 http://www.wurthusa.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13227-metric-fuel-vacuum-hose-braided/ Share on other sites
September 13, 200420 yr comment_95033 To one of the gurus...would this qualify as OEM-replacement? I know it isn't Nissan branded, but it IS braided...or is it? I'm just wondering as to the construction. September 13, 200420 yr comment_95036 I'm no guru, but I''l chuck in my $.02In the strict sense of the word, No it would not be OEM replacement. It may or may not be of better quality, Many of the OEM hoses are "formed" to a shape in addition to being the cloth covered hose. Obviously these hoses are just straight hose, not formed to a particular shape. Also it's tough to tell if the color is even close to that of the OEM hoses. Lots of room for color variation here.**None of this is to say that the hose isn't any good, just that I don't believe it can be called OEM Replacement. September 13, 200420 yr comment_95048 So, if I know the size of the hose, I can get these for a Turbo L28? That would be nice, but does another company make braided fuel lines, Carl? September 14, 200420 yr comment_95070 I don't know Brian. Wherever you get hose, just be sure it is rated for the pressures encountered in Fuel injection. Regular fuel hose won't do the job for you. September 14, 200420 yr comment_95073 Where would I be without you man. I had planned to put a fuelcell in the place of the OEM tank. I heard I need to change tanks anyway. I'll check with Summit Racing and see what they have. :rambo: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13227-metric-fuel-vacuum-hose-braided/#findComment-95073 Share on other sites
