September 15, 200420 yr comment_95234 First guess, Broken speedo cable. To test unscrew it from the tranny and turn it while someone watches the speedo for needle movement. To test unscrew it from the tranny and turn it while someone watches the speedo for needle movement.ok i couldnt look at the tranny part...no lift yet.i did however discover that the knurled knob was undone at the back of the speedo. I reconnected that--still no luck. also noticed that the "trip odometer" cable was just floating in fid-air not doing anything...must figure out where that goes.
