The Sydney Z Club is holding its Concours this Sunday the 19th September at Gannons Park, Peakhurst off Forest Road.

It will be run in conjunction with the local Lions Club Spring Fair, with the Mustang and Mini car clubs and the Norton motorcycle club also in attendance. Plenty of food and other stalls and displays.

We will have all Z models from 240 through to 350 as well as some 1600's/180B's from the Sydney Datsun Club. Judging will commence at 10am through to 1.30pm, with trophy presentation about 2pm. All welcome!!

Well the Concours has come and gone and a great day was had by all!!. Although rain threatened, it was a fine day and we had 42 Z's ranging from 240 through to 350 with a good roll up of 300's from the 300Z Association. In addition we had about 18 1600's and 180B's and a couple of other Datsun/Nissan models which added up to a very good turn out overall.

As well as the awards given by the Z club, the organisers of the Spring Fair which was the local Lions Club, also presented some awards with one of our member's 240Z winning an award for the best Classic Car at the show!. This was whilst competing against some very nice Mustangs and various other sports, classic and vintage cars

Next up the Nationals Easter 2005!!

Well Richard there is no accounting for the Goulburn weather, however we are hoping that in March it may be a bit cool in the evenings, but Ok in the day time.

As you may appreciate, we are in drought in NSW and I suppose one of the easy ways to beat the drought is to organise an event such as the Nationals. Hopefully we will have plenty of water by then, if not we will all be in deep s@#t!!.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Cheers,

Geoff.

PS: Do you still have those 15 x 7 Challenge rims?

Hey George,

Where have you been? Haven't seen you around for a while, how is the car?

Cheers,

Geoff

Hi Geoff

Long time mate. I've been pretty good. Work is keeping me extremely busy since I got a promotion. That and I've been attending night school so life is kinda non stop deadlines right now. TAFE is nearly over (end of the year) and I can't wait for it to finish.

Car is pretty good. I've got it booked in to the mechanics this Tuesday to get some new rocker covers fitted and a catch can. Then she's getting new extractors the week after because I can't stand the fumes. There are a few cracks in the current ones and the cabin is a death trap after about 30 min driving.

Anyway, how've you been Geoff? Meetings still on Wednesday nights at Bankstown?
