i just got a z, needs some work its a 75 280z. i notice when i hit bumps, the suspension makes a jingle bell sound ...like something is loose. something also makes the car pull to the right a tad..hopefully it is just a alignment fix.

any feedback?

Gland nuts loose?

Jingle sound? Loose change $!

Need to do a bumper to bumper check on all the nuts & bolts, inside and out. Loose seat belts, straps, buckles, tools, jack, exhaust hangers, lic.plate frames, just about anything you can wiggle or rattle check it out. You may find other things that need attention while looking for you Jingle.

Get the car up on jacks (be careful) and look under her too. :paranoid:

Emergency Brake cables and support hanger springs (under car in rear near axles); or loose sway bar link mounts (rotted bushings)

And, i can't believe Carl (aka Bambikiller) didn't point out- maybe Santa is missing a reindeer!! Sorry, i can't help myself...

As everyone has said, this is one that you jack up the car, secure it safely,and start wiggling & jiggling to reproduce the sounds.
