Posted September 21, 200420 yr comment_95915 Just got a new cam (regrind on my original) 269/269 473, should I get new rocker arms or have mine reground by Delta Cams? Some people say get new OEM, whiule others say go with the regrounds. With a 473 lift, shouldn't I get new performance springs since new stock springs, I think, are only good to a 460 lift? Of course I have to get new lash pads, I think I will need 170 or 180. Thanks Keith. September 21, 200420 yr comment_95929 I'm no expert, but if you want to sleep well at night I recommend going with the OEM rockers, new springs, and lash pads. While you're at it, what condition is your timing chain? September 21, 200420 yr comment_95957 You might want to ask our member "Phred" about whether OEM springs are good enough for the cam lift that you now have. He builds engines for a living and knows L6 engines very well.
