September 23, 200420 yr comment_96225 I believe leather is measured in the amount of hides you have to use. To do the 2 z seats in my car it was 2 hides, or about $600 - that includes all labour etc.Interesting concept doing a K in leather. You could always go the works z racing seats look .. that would look great in a K. September 23, 200420 yr comment_96233 I was told that there is a difference between car upholstery leather and "normal" leather. Whether or not this is true, I dunno. Someone in the trade should know.. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13373-240k-leather-interior/#findComment-96233 Share on other sites

September 24, 200420 yr comment_96254 How do you sell leather by the metre, it can only be the length of one cow, and the width of one cow? We just had a pair of half bucket seats done, and for the primo leather it was 700 and that was only doing the faces of the seats, with the back of the back/sides etc still in vinyl. Leather for couches etc, is not UV stabilised, and will lose die if it gets wet etc as well as cracking in about 1/4 the time car grade leather does.Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13373-240k-leather-interior/#findComment-96254 Share on other sites
