September 26, 200420 yr comment_96479 Alphadog, I can't type, my fingers were out of sync with my brain Photoshop defaults to 72 dpi, and the "Picture Info" menu item is where my info was taken. WIll There are several shareware programs that allow you to make a slideshow for earlier versions of windows, XP has it built in... September 26, 200420 yr comment_96481 I can't find it in Windows 98, but I believe you can set slideshow in XP by going to Start, Settings, Display, Screen Saver, Slide Show and choosing the file folder where you save your pictures. We're talking "Desktop" in this thread (see Subject Line), not "Screensaver". Don't think that will work for a Desktop. September 26, 200420 yr comment_96482 Opps, I did it too, I have no wall paper, the complexity of the background adds to windows overhead, and for rendering, every bit of available resource-even with 2 gigs of ram and a current processer high end-helps. That damned daytime job gets in the way of my fun again! Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13403-what-is-your-desktop-wallpaper/?&page=3#findComment-96482 Share on other sites

I just read "slide show" and thought of my screensaver at work and read right over desktop. September 26, 200420 yr comment_96499 Sorry to take so long to get back. We had a hurricane today. Don't ask. I'm in a bad mood.Let's see...I don't do anything to my desktop screen setup. It is blank in one of the optional color schemes. I go into screen saver, set the reaction time real low - like one minute, and reference slide show from a saved file of jpg's. I don't know what version this is. Whatever you get with Dell these days. This computer is great. For the first time in all my computers, I have music. Internet radio is WAY cool. 3WKThanks for the pics Gav! I sent that to one of my Porsche friends.
