Are those fairly common over there? I've only seen pictures of them in Datsun publications. Never seen one in the 'States. I wonder why the Ford engine.

Steven, I dont know about anyone else but I've never seen one. I love the styling of old flatbed trucks - take off that bullbar and she's a beauty! I guess the Ford engine simply because the old one died and another Nissan one was impossible to find, or maybe just parts availability was scarce?

....but, speaking of old trucks....I saw another lovely old truck the other day. Similar sort of age/style to this but a fair bit bigger and was painted the same colour. Was pretty cool to see such a thing out and about, still in use. Looked like it was in imaculate condition.
