Sounds right! and that's a good price. when I was planning this, it apeared that a $60.00 to $75.00 price was as low as I could get it out for. You must have found a good low price for the relays. good on ya!

Please forgive my ignorance but what is the purpose of these? What will they do for me? What am I replacing by using this? etc...etc...etc..

The original headlight circuit on our cars is inadequate for the higher wattage headlights available today. It's barely adequate for the stock lights. The problem is that the full current travels through the combination switch itself which makes the distance quite long for for gauge of wire used. The improvement is to use relays such that a low current flows through the switch itself which in turn operates the relays which get the full current straight from the battery and send it right to the headlights.

Exactly. Your adding a separate circuit, for the main power to the headlights. No more big power through the dash harness and stalk switch. The existing circuitry will now only operate the relays, which is a very light load in comparison.

Very nice idea!! I may be interested in this down the road a bit (a headlight upgrade has been in the back of my mind since I got the car)...but would also require the installation instructions. If you have the instructions available now I'd really like to review them, can I get a copy?

Mike and Victor hit the nail on the head. but forgot to mention the fact that....

1) no more blown headlight fuses and MELTED fuse holders in the fuse box.

2) No more high current going through the head light and high beam switches will prevent them from burning out in the future. AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT A BITCH IT CAN BE TO REPLACE THEM OR EVEN FIND THE RIGHT ONE TO REPLACE THEM WITH, NOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH IT WILL COST YOU TO DO THAT.

I'm in the process of writing the instructions up with pictures (yah!!)

1) Three grounding points using stock bolt locations

2) one mounting point for relay pack

3) plug in four oem molex plugs

4) connect the power wire to the battery

5) insert the inline fuse

and your done

instructions to follow in 2 hours

Like I said before, I only have three (3) at the moment, But as soon as I sell the first 2, I can buy supplies to make even more for you guys (and gals)

I have to run to the store for a bit so the instructions will be a little later than previously state (later tonight.
