"COUGH" ON HARD, SUSTAINED LEFTS???

My Car Is 76'...... All Systems Are Completely Gone Through!!

I Do Believe That The Tank Has The Baffles To Keep Fuel From Moving Away From The Pickup???

Noticed When I Was Autocrossing The Other Day, That When I Went Into A Hard Sustained Left Turn, It Would Cough When I Put My Foot Into It To Come Out Of It!!! (only Time It Does It!)

Had A 1/2 Tank Of Gas Also.... First Time I Noticed It, I Thought It Was Because Of Having A Low Tank. So I Made Sure This Time To Have At Least Half Tank.

My Concern: I Will Be Turbo Charging This Winter, And I Thought I Would Have No Issues With My Tank Due To F.i. Tank.

I Cant Have Starving Issues Onces Turbo'd Or Else By-by Motor!!!

Anyone Tell Me Your Thoughts

You say that all systems have been gone through, Does that mean that you have pulled the gas tank and washed it out?

The baffles are there to keep gas from sloshing away from the pick up, but thay can also keep 28yrs. of buildup nearby. Checking the tank is one point. The fuel filter is another.

Another would be the float in the carbs. Most likley not the problem but worth at

least checking as it is easier than pulling the tank.

My 2 cents.

Good luck!
