Coolest cars of all time...

The Camaro and Firebird are both GM products so I'm guessing that most parts are interchangeable. I always thought the front fenders on the Firebird had a more pronounced body line. I will have to check and compare the two cars the next time I'm at a show. Never really paid attention to them because they are a dime a dozen around here.

I would have to agree that the XJ-13 is by far one of the most impressive cars that I have ever seen. Can you imagine...a Lucas injected v-12 with it's overhead cams and exotic exhaust note right behind your head! Allan Decadnet....one lucky bastard indeed. I think he said that there are only like two originals made. What a shame.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned either of my dream cars.

The '69 Camaro and the Firebird.

I understand that the two cars actually use the same body panels.

Can anyone confirm or refute that???????

Rick.

The Camaros and Firebirds are very similar when it comes to suspension but the body panels are absolutley not interchangeable unless you want to do aLOT of modifications. i.e. the quarter panels will fit the other but the looks are not there obviously. The front and rears are different. Different radiator support...different... you get the idea! As for a dime a dozen, will you pick me up a few dozen. ;) The 67-69 Camaros are bringing crazy amounts of money! I have a 68 and a 73. Fun cars! Different animal than the 280Z but still fun!

This is a great thread - completely off topic, and some great pictures of stuff we never see. Here are three more from my files. How about we start ON topic and have a nice 300Z? Then an ALMS Ferrari would be a lot of fun. And reaching way back, a Chevron B8. Chevron is a British car builder. The 1969 coupe ran with a 2 liter Cosworth Engine, or in the case of one I have driven, a 2 liter BMW engine. They are fiberglass bodies around steel tube and box sections - typical of the period. Mid-engine layout with a five speed transaxle.

This is a timeless body style of the modern rendition of the 507. This picture was taken two days ago on my college campus. It has a student parking pass on the rear view mirror!!! BTW, I post pictures of other cars, but I am really happy with my car. It is my dream to never part with it, as it is special to me in many ways :).
