Posted April 13, 200222 yr comment_5468 Recently purchased a 1973 240z from someone who left the poor car sitting in his driveway uncovered for 8 years in New Engaland of all places, amazingly the car started after only a few tries. God these cars are dependable. I took my baby home put her in the garage and waited for winter to end. I am now in the process of pulling her apart for a complete restoration and after getting the front end apart I found that what I thought was only minor rust to the passangers side wheel housing is much worse. Unfourtunatley I am having a very hard time finding replacement housings. If anyone has any info on where I can find them it would be greatly appreciated. April 17, 200222 yr comment_5701 well, i don't know how much this will help, since i'm almost at the other side of the country, but here in utah, there are tons of old z cars. in fact, right outside of salt lake city, there's a junkyard dedicated to the z, and most of them have good, or at least decent body condition. maybe you could buy one, maybe not, i haven't got a clue! hope that helps. -chocobosteve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/1351-wheel-housings/#findComment-5701 Share on other sites
April 17, 200222 yr comment_5708 If you are talking about the inner wheel well, MSA used to have a repair panel. I know it's in their old catalog, seems like they were about 50 bucks a piece. If you don't have their catalog, go to the web-links and request one on their web-site.
