Gee Posted October 5, 2004 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2004 Does anyone have an email for Victoria British? Contacting them by phone has proved difficult from Australia..

sblake01 Posted October 6, 2004 Share #4 Posted October 6, 2004 Sorry guys, I guess if I had paid proper attention to the post...oh, well. No email address in the catalog that I can see. They are closed now. It's 8:30PM here (10:30PM in Kansas) so I'll give them a call in the morning and see if I can get that information for you. Gee Posted October 6, 2004 Author Share #5 Posted October 6, 2004 Thanks Stephen! There's something I want that's not in the catalogue. How do they compare against MSA? I'm not really prepared to spend $10 to get their catalogue and find out they're more expensive.. why don't they .pdf it for god's sake?? I'd say they'd do MORE business that way.. sblake01 Posted October 6, 2004 Share #6 Posted October 6, 2004 Haven't done much business with them. I did purchase a center console for my 78 from them about three years ago and it was cheaper than MSA.
240znz Posted October 6, 2004 Share #7 Posted October 6, 2004 I've just made a a spreadsheet of parts I need. I put in part no. page no. description and prices. Prices vary with MSA being more cost effective in some areas and VB vice-versa.I'm waiting on MSA to get back to me on a final price and shipping costs to NZ. Remember that VB is inland and I'm expecting freight charges to be more from them. MSA is close to LA if not in it. (Sorry CA guys, I'm not too sure how far LA spreads.)I can email you the sheet if you like. Just PM me with your address.James
Alan Pugh Posted October 6, 2004 Share #8 Posted October 6, 2004 I have bought some stuff from Vic Brit and have done it by FAX. They don't have an email address as such, only the web order form. The FAX number is in the catalogue. I have found them great to deal with.

240znz Posted October 6, 2004 Share #10 Posted October 6, 2004 MSA Part no. 40-2954 US$ 1.75 + P&PYou may as well buy something else as they weight 0.You can email them on motorsport@sbcglobal.net
hls30.com Posted October 6, 2004 Share #11 Posted October 6, 2004 I have found shopping the parts and including shipping charges to be the best way to figure out value. On somethings, VB is much higher than MSA, on others, the reverse is true, on other parts, buying them direct from the manufacturer(when you know who it is) is the best value. I have ordered from both MSA and VB and been pleased with the results. Will
sblake01 Posted October 6, 2004 Share #12 Posted October 6, 2004 I called them this morning and the lady that answered says that they don't have an email address. That seems strange since if you place an online order, they ask for your email address which I imagine they would use to contact you with order details. That message has to come from somewhere. I asked her about the heater knob but she was unable to give me a part number. I couldn't find it in their catalog. ATC, you might be better off going with MSA.
