Thanks guys.

I wanted the heater knob as only one little part of a reasonable size order of stuff, so it's a pain they don't have them as they have everything else!! I think it's quite strange they don't have email but they encourage postal / fax / phone orders. ..and MSA don't have an online catalogue. I find this surprising. Do these people want to do business? They must have "soft copies" of the order booklets and it wouldn't cost them anything to make them available online. :stupid:

Gee,

I ordered a free VB catalogue from their website and it arrived in Alice Springs about 3 weeks later. Its just a soft cover magazine style with 131 pages. I cant find any heater control knobs in there for you, but it hasnt got a few other little bits and pieces I was chasing either.

The freight charges are calculated on purchase value as you probably know, so it makes it too expensive for smaller orders to overseas.

MSA does have a parts listing (it is still a work in progress) on-line and you can order from their website or catalog via the internet. https://www.zcarparts.com/internet_orders.htm

I have the VB catalogue and want a whole load of stuff including a heater knob (which is not in the catalogue). Ringing them is proving difficult from Oz, and faxing them is impossible (for me). Therefore I would have thought they'd have an email. I would have just got the part number from them and included it in the rest of the order.

The MSA website has a little bit of stuff ,but it's far from comprehensive. I was wondering that since they .pdf their sale catalogues, why not do the same for the "normal" catalogues. Sorry for the confusion.

I asked MSA about the sale catalogs, and they said that they are in .pdf for a limited time period, and they plan to have their entire catalog online eventually. I have been using the same (hardcopy) catalog for 3 years and just use the online order form, asking for price quotes and shipping charges.

While Chloe was in business I didn't order from MSA too often, but I guess I'll be getting used to it all over again.
