Anyone purchased from them before? Good or bad experiences? I just got a quote for a couple of parts and it turns out they add $4 per part to fill an order!!! That's a $4 fee just to pull the part off of the shelf. Well the first is "free" but each additional part is $4. I found that to be outrageous but on the other hand some parts you can't find anywhere else. I've heard of restocking fees for returns but never anything like this.

Never experienced that with them but I've only purchased a few things from them, one at a time. Found an original dash pad there for my 810. Some mouldings, etc. Even if they do charge for additional parts in the order, you can't beat their prices!

That's true sblake -their prices are good especially considering they're all NOS parts. Also, I had a question about one part and Norman actually generated a pic from the parts manual with highlighted part numbers to help me understand what it was. So their service is good - I'm not trying to burn them. I was just surprised when he told me about this parts pulling fee.

I bought a NOS air cleaner assembly for my '78 280Z for $115 shipped. It came today. I haven't been home to check it out yet. Norman was very helpful. He pasted a pic from the Nissan parts manual to help me confirm the part was correct.

I bought my 240Z NOS driver & pass door glass from them. Despite the handling charges the overall price was good considering it was the only place I could find new door glass. They let me know when it was shipped & gave me a tracking number. No problems here.

Wow. Wish I would have know about them yesterday. Called all my known Z vendors for an Air Pump for the 72. No body had one so I had to call MSA. Got the very last one they had. Maybe this guy could replace Midwest Z.....no?

How much did you pay for the Air Pump? I'm looking at this guy's site now & the MSRP for one is $547, which means he would likely sell it to you for about $250. I have no idea as to how much one could get them elsewhere.

Vicky:

Did the Air Pump that came on the Vintage Z die so soon? I thought those things lasted for ever.

Ouch! $2,200+ for an auto tranny, I guess I shouldn't have tossed the one I had. About the same for an R200 diff. I'm glad I don't need (nor can I afford) brand new parts. So dkd021, are you saying they sell items for about half the MSRP I'll keep them in mind for something I just can't find anywhere else and it's nice to know there are a few brand new parts still out there, but they're still out of my range. Are these the same people that list tons of stuff for NISSAN on eBay? The same ones who put the keywords 240Z in all their auctions and slow me down by clogging up the listings when I'm power browsing what's out there? LOLROFL

I don't know about their clogging up ebay. But yeah, if you go to their pricing policies section it's very vague but explains that their prices are anywhere from 40% to 90% off. Maybe the price depends on the weather, I don't know. I think what they have on thier website is all they have left. I ended up getting my two new door glass for about $100 total with everything from them. I would consider a wiring harness from them but I'm not sure which one I'd need.

$106 total shipped ground to Florida, which I thought was pretty good. :)

Carl, the air pump pulley is making an pesky noise. Scott says when looking at the pump you can see where the bolt was not tightened enough causing it to run out of alignment with the water pump & alternator. This then caused the bearing in the pump to "chirp". It's quite embarassing to drive it with that noise IMO. Probably should have followed the owners manual and did a tightening on the car after so many miles. I would have to say this is *****'* fault.

I've bought several things from them through e-bay. The only complaint I have is that their care in packaging could use some improvement. A couple things I've bought were larger metal pieces, and there was no padding used, and a metal corner or two ended up tearing through the boxes. For what they charge to ship, they could do better. But then, the prices on the parts were good...
