October 20, 200420 yr comment_98764 Bambikiller240 said: Good Point Stephen. The suspension was "refined" (altered) in the 280Z years (as opposed to 240Z years) I think that they (Nissan) made many alterations, like most auto manufacturers do."Refined" in this case unfortunately means 'softened.' I have owned both a 70 and my present 78. Stock vs stock, the 70 had a much better road feel although the 78 is smoother (softer). October 20, 200420 yr comment_98766 Just a thought about the differences....could it be due to the 280Z being heavier? Heavier motor, and all the addtional items bolted to it? October 20, 200420 yr Author comment_98775 so i take it that it would be too much of a hassle to mount up the 240 struts/springs to my 280? would i be better off just buying the a 280 setup? Thanks for the feedback guys Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13660-will-they-fit/?&page=3#findComment-98775 Share on other sites
