New to the older s cars I know just about everything about the new ones.

1. I'm looking for the cheapest yet still reliable v8 kit for the 240z ( i heard there was something called the "scareb kit")

2. Also, got to get rid of that ugly bumper set up. Is there a kit I can get so that when I take those things off i can replace them with a bumper that looks less like a bumarange? Web sites...

3.Also looking for wheel flares and other aftermarket body kit stuff any info on that?

4.What suspension ugrades am I going to need for this to pull 12's? I'm also looking to do autocross stuff witht the z. Where do I get them?

5. I'd like make the thing look like this at least the body I do custom paint work so don't care about that.

6. Last but not least Need some help to find body pannel or door or quarter pannel that I can buy that is made of fiberglass any help with that?

Welcome to the club. I hate to tell you but most of us here don't do the V-8 thingy. But we're sure glad to help with anything else. To get the most help in your V-8 project try the folks over at hybridz .

As to the body kits you will find most of them available through MSA get one of there catalogs.

Well, basically try searching here and at hybridz first, as this has been covered many times. But all in all, between Motorsport Auto, and Victoria British, you should find most of what you seek. Plus arizonaz, www.zbarn.com www.zparts.com www.zcarparts.com www.datsunzparts.com

You'll need a new differential (r200 lsd most likely) at least..

:pirate: Check out WWW.ReactionResearch.com for body kits. they have a 280YZ kit I am looking at to put on a 240Z V-8. Also look at WWW. Modern-Motorsports.com for every thing else. For what you may need, first look at what Org. and what class you want to run. Get their rule book and read what you can or cannot do to your car. Like, if you want to run with the SCCA Solo II in B street prepared class. You can run coilovers with shorter struts, poly bushings can be used, any kind of shock you want as long as it fits in the struts. The engine can use any type intake system you want, as long as rest of engine is left stock. You can put in the L28 engine in the 240Z, as a whole unit (same block and same head). So get the rule book and read it well a few times. The gray areas are were most winners get their advantages from. Good Luck, Rich.
