I didn't have a metric socket large enough (it's larger than a 24mm) so I used a 1 1/16 socket on mine. Hope this helps.

find someone with a chain wrench it goes around the pulley and holds it and it think it is 28mm but a good 1/16 will work ok

If you have a long pull handle or ratchet you can position it so it is wedge against the frame of the car then put the car in first or second gear and push the car.

The multiplication of the trans will help brake it loose

27 MM Socket / Wrench

yeah i got a 2ft racthet 1/2 " drive with the 27mm socket and then took a big hammer to it that worked instantly. put the engine back together and have a water leak from the timing plate im pissed.

It is 27mm, but a typical inpact socket will not fit because the wall thickness it too great.

I pulled my hair out trying to find a socket, until I realized that 1 1/6" = 26.9875mm... and that sockets aren't nearly that precise.

Well, at least you know more of how to get it all apart again to fix that leak. Like the tools/precedure to get that frickin bolt loose.

Clean ALL the gasket surfaces perfectly, use new, undamaged gaskets and a thin film of sealant, and most of all......work slow and careful every step of the way & your care will be back on the road in no time.
