Posted October 24, 200420 yr comment_99356 I was able to replace 1 vent hose with shop vac hose but can't find 2" hose for the ac which are either cracked or missing. Tried plummbing supply and big box. It's amazing what else you can find when all I wanted to do was see where the green and white wire went! Any ideas for hoses welcome. thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13764-under-dash-hoses/ Share on other sites
October 24, 200420 yr comment_99359 I've got all the under dash vent hoses on my parts car. If you could be a little more specific as to which one you need I can pull it for you. From memory:There is one from the blower to the heater core box thingy, this one is square. Then from the heater core there are five, two lower one's that go to the outside round vents on the dash. Two that go up to the defogger. And one that goes out the front to the center console. Not too sure about this though with out looking. Let me know which one you need.Ed Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13764-under-dash-hoses/#findComment-99359 Share on other sites
October 25, 200420 yr comment_99406 If you're not looking for stock items, go to an after market auto A/C supplier.I replaced my entire heat/ac unit with a setup from Southern Air. Don't have their web page but Street Rodder Mag would have it.Good Luck. October 25, 200420 yr comment_99416 Evidentally, the original hoses are still available. On my 78, I had my heater core, and all the valves, water and vent hoses, clamps, etc. replaced last year by a buddy of mine at his shop. He used all OEM stuff exc. the core itself. I have also found good vent hoses at the junkyard to use as backup.
