I have a wiring diagram in front of me, but I can't scan it and send it because I have no flat bed scanner.

I still might be able to help if you can answer these questions

Automatic or manual transmisson?

Do your License plate lights work?

Parking light work?

What color are the wires to the side markers?

Is it a problem with the front or rear lights on the car or both?

Any time John. I cross referenced the wireing diagrams on 3 different book to the one on my 73 240z shop manual and all the wires match up for the 72 240z. My shop manual wiring diagram is the clearest, so I'll copy that one and hopefully email it to you. Also I'll see what I can do about sending the wiring diagram of the windshield wiper. Hope it helps you out. Let me know if there are any other problem I can help you out with.

Just a observation perhaps it will help.Past post that started with light issues usually end with replaced fuse block or loose fuse clip holder or oxidized clips making poor connection. The wiper may be a seperate issue. You may have a worn/dirty switch. It comes out of the firewall beside the batterery and runs back into the "pan"where the motor lives. You could check outputs at that connector or backfeed it to test your wiper and switch.Since the lights and wiper are on the same combo switch that may be telling you something about the switch. I have a couple scaned images of wiring diagrams from a fsm up on my web site, you can download em and have em as big as you want on your computer or print them if you want, www.geocities.com/psyco_guy_abd/Brians_240z_page.html, then click on the link for z files. Hope that helps ya.
