Man I can't wait! Next year the MSA show is going to be big, what with the 35th anniversary of the Z! The dates are April 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We're comming back out with the 77 280Z. Can't compete but we can dislpay. Hope to meet some of you guys and maybe do a cruise or something.

Who else is going to be there?

Vicky

I would really like to go, but it is on my Mom's B-day every year. I will have to think about it and make a deal with my Mom. If only the big show was not on Sunday.

Also, I am hoping to go to the Z convention. If not the whole time, at least for the show. It just depends on whether I am in school that early or not. Chris, is Her Majesty 26th going to be completely by the time the Z convention rolls around?

Ben

P.S. Vicky, I will definately tell you whether I am going to go or not in January. I would love to go on that drive. :)

Speaking of 'Her Majesty,' my wife bought me a 1/18th scale 70 240Z to add to my collection the other day when she noticed it at Big Lots and didn't think I had this particular one. It's a green with tan interior 'Road Signature'. The detail is not the greatest but I immediately thought of 26 & 27 when she gave it to me. :classic:

As far as the MSA show, I plan to make it to the next one.

Ben, I'm shooting for 2006 with Her Majesty. We'll see. Her Majesty gets finished first. Then I will start on Princess 27. At the moment, I am still spending money on getting the Princess stabilized and tucked away in storage. Almost finished, though. All of the major money has been spent!

I know that there is probably a good reason, but why doesn't MSA separate the cars by years as they do at other shows. It's a little annoying when your walking along trying not to drool over all the 240'z and then you have a row of 300'z then more 240'z then 350'z then more 240'z ??? It's like they are all out of sequence.

Just guessing, but maybe it is to encourage "mingling".

Another possiblility is that most other shows do not have the shear volume of entries that MSA draws. The logistics of arranging cars with a limited number of people running the show, and getting all the cars into the show in an extremely short timespan would make that job a bear to handle.

I do understand your point though, as I have ZERO interest in most of the post 1978 cars entered.

Good idea Ed, but there is already enough pandemonium going on with 100s of Z car being parked at the show. One thing I intend to do differently next year is arrive really early....like, 4:00am in the morning so I can get a parking spot thats not way down at the far end of the street. Maybe if I suck-up to Steve M. a little more this year I can park with those bad boys. I've always enjoyed myself at the MSA shows, but have yet to meet any of the good people who participate here at Classic Zcar Club (with the exception of Victor and Steve). I think I'm going to wear a sign around my neck that reads... "I'm 240ZX from Classic Zcar Club". Speaking of something new...how about if all the folks from this site, that will attend the 2005 MSA show, reserve space so we can all park together!!.

Really looking forward to seeing you all. Let's make a point to get together. How about a ClassicZCar.com group photo? or an "Apres-Show" dinner. There's lots of eateries in the area. We could take over the Acapulco restruant on Katella. Maybe even a Tequilla or two in moderation, of course.
