no but ive campaigned and listened to 100 stupid people tell me their reasons for voting republican.. because hes a devout christian, because he can secure our country, and ive seen my dads company file chapter 11 because that son of a bitch wouldnt sign a billion dollar loan gurantee for UAL, meanwhile hes handing out billions more to israel so they can commit genocide and creating huge ****ing deficits that im going to have to pay for so his corporate criminal friends can eliminate u.s. jobs and send them to underdeveloped coutries with the same military regimes that we are supposed to look down on... $^!# whats giong on here people wake up

Excellent response. Its a shame more people didnt and don't see things as you do. I didnt vote for Bush. I'm non-partisan. I believe in what a person stands for and what his/her past record is. I completely understand your rage in the other post. But you are preaching to the choir. And as long as you understand that it takes a HUGE amount of effort to affect change, then you are OK by me. I like your attitude. I just wanted to see what direction you went. Yes, you're young, but you'll learn. Like I have. You just have to remember this, sometimes ignorant people cant learn. No matter how many times they're told. And even if its laid out for them right in front of their faces.

I am sorry that you are so stilted in your view that you beileve your neighbors in Antioch are as guilty as anyone in the group that helped you to form your opinion.

I am sitting here, my new son in one arm, wondering what could have happened in your life to bring you to such a conclusion.

As a father, I hope I can bring up my child to realize that his views are his, and others can be not right for him, but not wrong for someone else.

I (as one American) do not lie, kill babies, bitch about what I pay for gas, or eat $^!#. I do the best I can to provide form my family at noone elses expense, to be tollerant of opinions that I do not share, (and in some cases, cannot understand), and to capture my own happiness . When I look at the world, I see a place with wonderous differences in people, customs and beliefs. My thought is that if a person sticks by his or her beliefs-as long as they do not infringe on another persons ability to stick by their own, the world will be a great place for everyone.

One question though.

With that much hate in your life, why do you waste time driving or talking/reading about a Z?

Will, as a new father myself (he'll be 1 on the 11th) I hear what you're saying. You stated several things that I strongly believe in. Its just too bad that others want to push their beliefs/customs on others. But reality bites sometimes.

I am non partisan as well, as such I don't prejudge people by the color of their skin, their nationality, the volume or fervor of their speach, or relation to someone else. I do not join groups that are defined by flocking in every decision.

America has problems of all kinds, and bad decisions are made. Unfortunately you can replace "America" with the name of any other country in the world, and the previous statement still holds true. The one major difference here is that if you believe you have an answer to one of the many problems that we have here, you are free to find the answer for it, or, to bitch about it.

280Z is just getting started, and raw emotion is passion, when he learns how to use and focus that energy instead of just venting it, he will be a strong force with in his community.

I don't take any offence at any of this, education comes from all directions to everyone involved, I think I would be far more worried if you hadn't gotten fired up!

Some of our members might freak out at this, but here's a little personal info from me to you all. My son is in daycare. The mom is from Morrocco (sp) and the father is from Libya!! They have two daughters of their own yet they treat my son Alex better than I could have ever expected. They are strict Muslim's and I have absolutley no problem with that. The fact that my son is safe and sound from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm is what matters most to me.
