Wheel adapters

Just wanted to know if anyone has successfully fabricated wheel adaptors for thier 240Z, converting to a Honda 4x100 patern? I have a friend who teaches at a local community college in nead of projects due to the rising cost of materials, and a tight budget. (CNC machining is available as well, if that may be the correct path to take?)

This in turn gives the students an interesting learning experience and myself one step closer to starting another phase of the ever growing list of modifications I have in the works for my 73' 240Z.

If anyone would have specific information dealing with dimensions, ect... it would be truly appreciated.

Check out this link. These are the same as I run but mine were made in California. You'd be better off to buy them then have them made. I would think locally they would be more expensive. Maybe not though.

T6061 Aluminum for the ring, studs as needed-at least grade 8.8. considering the disclaimers, You can probably have them cheeper locally, just be sure to specify the materials and the useage.

You can contact Performance Wheel & Tire in Denver, Co at 1-303-934-2929. They can make the spacers you want. It cost me $200 for a set of 1" spacers 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" to fit my car in 2002. They can make almost any size and pattern you may want. They use 6061 aluminum in their spacers. I can testify that they are great. I use them for racing also. They also came with new lugs in them. Had to buy new lug nuts, as they were for a 1.50 pitch, not the 1.25 pitch that is normal on a Z. Their E-mail address is WWW. performancewheel.com . I got mine from Modern Motorsports, and they work great. Perfect thickness for Honda offset wheels. I used 17x7 wheels with 225/45-17's and they fit perfect. I don't think Modern Motorsports likes to give out their thickness, so I won't post it here.
