I need a cheap waterproof car cover for my 72 z. Any of yall know of any cheap ones out there that will get the job done (btw snow will be sitting on the cover when I don't have the time to remove it).

1)Harbor Freight Portable garage-I have used it for 3 seasons inthe rain, wind and heat, I don't know enough about snow load, but some extra braces, or changing the pitch shouldn't be too hard to do.

2)Wrap it in the thickest weed shield the Home centers have. Thick, dark, if the seams are at the bottom, waterproof!

I've looked at those portable garages..can't affor one this winter. I've looked around on the net and the prices for simple waterproof car covers is quite steep. I just need a one winter solution as cheep as possable, thought one of you guys may have a source I over looked.

You can put A tarp over it. BUT. Only when its snowing or the weather is threatening rain.

If not the plastic will draw moister and you would find a big pile of rust when you uncover it. Also make sure its away from trees. As the ice might bring the lems down crashing apawn your car.
