Posted February 22, 200124 yr comment_322 Accelerated on a curved on-ramp, went about a half mile, then heard a rumbleing sound from the rear end. Anyone want to hazard a guess? Car seems to run o.k., but a somewhat higher pitched rumble is still present, although it`s not real loud. Hope it`s nothing more than needing oil ( It`s NEVER that CHEAP or EASY!). February 22, 200124 yr comment_323 The noise could be anything, but internal diff noises normally don't just suddenly appear. I would check mouting bolts (tran, diff, and all suspension), lug nuts, u-joints, etc.----------------------------John Coffeyjohnc@betamotorsports.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/139-noise-in-the-differential/#findComment-323 Share on other sites
