They have a sale going on now on their Aerospace Thermal coating for headers, does anyone know if this is jet-hot or if not who does this for them? Also anyone have any feedback if they bought a header with this coating? Thanks Jeff

The headers I got from MSA are coated by Jet Hot. I don't know if they changed suppliers (this was 3+ years ago). I did have a small problem with the header begining to rust by the collector. Called MSA and they refered me directly to Jet Hot. Who told me that as long as I purchased the headers within two years that the warranty would cover it. If it was over two years there would be a 50% re-coating fee. All I did was pay for shipping and they re-coated the headers. I'm really happy with their product. It looks good and it reduces underhood temps.

LOVE IT!! The lower temp made vapor lock a thing of the passed. Also its so nice not having a clean under hood area with a rusty header. It the only way to go. You'll do it once and never touch it again.

I have had 2 sets of MSA headers. My first one I had covered with the thermal tape to keep the heat away from the mikuni carbs, but eventually the tape caused the header to rust and eventually puncture. I then bought another header and sent it to Jet Hot myself (believe I paid $150) to have it coated (lighter coat) and it is going strong for about 10 years now. The stuff keeps the header alive!!!
