headers: 6 to 1 or 6 to 2 to 1

i plan to install a headers on my 72 240z, i dont race, i only want it to look good when i open the hood and trouble free. which one is better and easier to install.

for power, the 6-1 provides marginally better high end power, while the 6-2-1 provides a better midrange.... as far as ease of installation goes i have no idea...

Installation would be the same on either one. I would suggest you install the headers (use high temp copper permatex sealant on the gasket) then take it to a muffler shop and have them build you a custom 2-3 inch exhaust (your choice on exhaust diameter). It will save you a lot of headache, you will only pay about $50 bucks more, and it will look 100 times better than the pre-bent kits.

I second the motion on the four piece pre bent kit.

the one that I installed on my 70' had to be welded cause the clamps kept scraping the ground after I installed my new eibach pro-rate springs.

We took off the clamps and welded the whole thing in place. would have been better off goin to the shop and having them make one with a lot less parts to it. costs a little more but more worth it. mine is 2 1/2" pipe with a 6 into 1 header.
