cami91 Posted November 16, 2004 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2004 I am rebuilding my 82 280zx 2+2 5 speed transmission and it will not shift into 3rd or 4th with the fork rods installed. It will shift by hand until I install the 1st/2nd fork rod. As soon as I install another fork rod and put pressure on the interlock balls it will not shift except by extreme force.
