Has anyone looked into what it would cost to ship vehicles from USA to Australia and back the other way? Aren't Australian cars right-hand drive? That would be cool to trade a bunch of left-hand drive cars for right-hand drive cars. Both sides would have something pretty unique. Later...Robert

Might be cheaper to get them from Japan Gav, well shipping cost at least.

Ben's got a 2 door 510, and on of the WAZcars members has a 2 seater 280zx. You might be able to find some in Australia if you look hard enough.

Oh well, so much for that idea. I was hoping that it only cost around $1000 or so. I test drove a right-hand drive 280ZX (Fairlady?) here in ABQ this summer, but unfortunately the PO had swapped out the 2.0 4-speed for a 2.8 automatic. Not sure why???

When I went to Tasmania earlier this year, while we were waiting at the Sydney wharves to drive onto the boat, we went for a walk and, on one of the wharves nearby, there were a couple of cars, covered in a thick layer of dust, parked near the fence.

I first noticed them on a previous trip to Sydney over TWO years ago and they were still there in March this year. Don't know what they were. Looked old though. Just thought you Sydneysiders might be intertested.
