I spent most of November in Japan, and the only car that I saw that was even close to a Fairlady was this Skyline. I know that it isn't a Z, but it is pretty nice.

Nice R33, sure it isn't a Zed but I'd take one of these.

Question what engine was in this car the RB25DET? or RB25DETT?

Real GTR's have those wider rear fenders I think. So I'd put my money on authentic!

if it was a real GTR then it's an RB26DETT

I know nothing about the car, except that it was in our employee parking lot about 4 or 5 times during the month. We could never find the owner... Or he didn't want to be identified.

I don't want to hijack this thread, I just thought that this would be a good place to post a few pics of Skylines that I saw recently. Of the modern Skylines the R33 is my favorite. Thanks Walter for sharing the pictures.

I saw these back in October. I also saw a black R34 with dealer plates driving in Gardena and on the 110 freeway.

Gotta agree with you e_racer1999, I like the R32s out of the newer Skylines.

Neither. No such engine as an RB25DETT, and its not a GTST, which had the RB25DET.

The GTR (which that car is, or at least it a replica of, has flared guards that only the GTR had) has an RB26DETT.

So thats a R33 GTR with the RB26DETT, by the looks of it.
