Nissan Z Video

Have you seen the video in the Great Cars series called "Nissan Z". I think it aired on PBS not too long ago. I got a copy of as a gift and it's pretty darn good. It gives some Nissan/Datsun history with some good old footage. It then goes into the development of the original Z and beyond upto the 350Z. Also has a little bit on the Roadster and some racing stuff. Check it out if you get the chance. :classic:

I went over to the PBS site to see what they had and couldn't find it. This one is on the History Channel site "Nissan Z" http://store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=72035

I have this and it is pretty good.

I purchased that video about 3 years ago from the A&E Channel. I don't recall to much 350Z info on that tape but it's been awhile since I watched it. Maybe it was on there and I just fast forwarded it .

The video I have is copy write 2004. That's why there's 350Z stuff in it. I actually like the 350Z; I think it's less expensive then the last 300ZX isn't it?

Is your video the A and e vid or a PBS production? I know PBS did have a series about cars a few years back. I have the A and E vid and I know it does not feature the 350Z, and i kind of doubt they would actually update the production. Let us know which one it is and where you got it!

It was shown on PBS but I don't think it's a PBS production. It was copy written in 2004 so it's up to date. My dad saw it at 5:30 AM, Nov. 13th on Oregon Public Broadcasting and liked it so he ordered two copies; one for me and one for him. I found this link to the company that made it...
