Receive Email Notification of replies to topics, pictures, etc? Am I the only one who is NOT receiving these??? Did not change anything for a long time, normally I got notification of replies so what's happening.....?

I didn’t get two of the earlier replies.

When I get a notfication for a thread I am subscribed to, it says right in the email that I will not get any further notices of replys to that thread until I visit that thread on the website. If you don't visit the thread, you won't get any more notices on that thread until you do.

Absolutely right! But it is that I’ was looking back to this thread otherwise I didn’t know you where responding…. Fact is I got none, zero response at all threads!!! Even for the responses at my pictures I have to come back???

I havent gotten a notification to ANY topic for the last week, and I know that I should be getting about 10 a day for the last few days, especially since it's the weekend, and I've been visiting here at least a dozen times a day to check for new things.

BUtyou are correct about getting only ONE notification to any one topic until you return here to catch up on things (hopefully that topic).

PS Instant notification is turned on....

I'm starting to think that there may have been some modifications made to the codethat runs this place, and something may have been changed which either disabled the notifications or causes something else to happen when somebody replies to a topic you're subscribed to.

FWIW, it stopped working for me around mid-November. Subscribed threads, PM notifications.

This is nothing new. It's been that way since July when the site melted down. If your reply is under 10 charecters, add a few ! ! ! or . . . smileys to fill out the requirement.
