I always thought those stock vents looked like floor heater vents. December 13, 200420 yr Author comment_105023 Dave, I just love your Z. The hood vents modification is great. Can you shoot a picture of them looking down towards the front so I can see what they look like from inside the car (when you have time). I'd like to know the rim and tire sizes, front and back please. ZRush wants new shoes for Christmas and I'm trying to get ideas.Vicky yeah, I'll post some pics of the vents from inside the car. Tire sizes are as follows. Front/17X7 with 225/45/17 Rear/17X8(5inch back space) with 235/45/17. The rears are a close fit. I had to roll inside fender lip a bit to keep the tire from rubing, but it does just fit. Nice color too!suspension is just Tokico springs and struts (not coil overs) with polyurethane bushings all the way around. 1 inch sway bar in front with 5/8 in the rear. December 14, 200420 yr comment_105050 yes, they are the ones that MSA sells. I just wanted something different than the stock vents. I always thought those stock vents looked like floor heater vents. I've spoken to you before about them and think what you've done looks nice I'm still not 100% on either of them. I am thinking I'll just put the stock hood back on and if I want ventilation I'll just graft them into some inspection lids. I await a few photos of your hood when you get time to see if it's worthwhile for me to venture down the same path. If you look in my gallery you can see i painted them black but I still can't get over the floor heater style.
