December 18, 200420 yr comment_105479 Wow. I thought your avatar was #27. Is #27 actually more roadworthy than #26 at this point? I thought the same thing. :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14314-gnose-in-florida/?&page=2#findComment-105479 Share on other sites

December 18, 200420 yr comment_105488 We don't see very many G-nose cars here in the states. In fact, I've personally only seen one before (and a nice one at that), but it wasn't in this country. Here's a photograph I took of it ... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14314-gnose-in-florida/?&page=2#findComment-105488 Share on other sites

December 19, 200420 yr comment_105528 I built one last year using MSA's 2-piece kit for my '72. You can see it at our club website (www.zccne.org - scroll in the member's section) or at my website (www.baddogparts.com) where there are some photos of the restoration and a short vid of the car out on the track (vid 2). I didn't go the fender flare route but instead rolled out and formed a small flare in the rear. The 245X45X16 just fit because I have 2.25 degrees of negative camber that allow upward wheel travel at an angle. The car sits at 6 inches (front rocker and 6.5 inches (rear rocker) with about 4 inches at the crossmember and 3.5 at the oil pan. I think a lowered gnose has more appeal but each to his own... December 19, 200420 yr comment_105551 Roadworthy !?!??? Err yea, I guess Princess 27 is more roadwothy...she rolls. Down hill. My avatar is Her Majesty, buck-arse naked, at the dipping spa. I'll be pleased to change avatars when she is without paint and rust. You guys can save the picture to your porn files. Any specific position you prefer? 26 also has what would be a running engine and transmission. They are pretty much finished and ready to bolt back in the car. Princess 27 is resting in a tent in my back yard along with a ton of body parts and spare stuff. It sure is nice to have people on this site with S30 models seriously uncommon to American shores. I admire the G-nose and always look forward to seeing a car so equipped. I know of several beautiful "reproductions" and must say that if I wasn't in the low serial number game, I would either build a G-nose repro or import a real one.
