Posted December 17, 200420 yr comment_105405 G'Day,Since there are quite a few of us looking for a nice C110 to call their own, I thought that a thread to consolidate for sale posts into would be helpfull.Obviously if a member wishes to sell their own example, a thread of their own would be appropraite, as discussion may ensue. However, for examples advertised externally, I though a thread like this may be helpfull. December 18, 200420 yr comment_105431 Jeezuz is that a real 240k gt for sale in SA!!! If youve got the money it could be a nice purchase - although 5 large ones - a little exorbitant perhaps? What happened to the other one Joonix?Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14360-the-240k-for-sale-elsewhere-thread/#findComment-105431 Share on other sites

December 19, 200420 yr Author comment_105547 Heh, no I didn't bother chasing up the coupe with the Chrysler 360. I figured that it wouldn't be worth the hassel transporting it to Sydney. Plus, I'd hate to see how they squeezed that cast iron block into the engine bay. December 19, 200420 yr comment_105552 The yellow 240K GT is a local car owned by a friend, its in pretty good nick, but not sure if its 5K good nick. I have a heap of dodgy photos of it somewhere if anypeople are interested in any particular areas, but as far as I could tell there were no spec differences between it and the GL aside from a nicer flowing inlet manifold.Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14360-the-240k-for-sale-elsewhere-thread/#findComment-105552 Share on other sites
December 21, 200420 yr comment_105857 Sorry Joonix, I have not looked at this form for 2 weeks, yes I found this car hiding in the SA Trading Post. It ia an Oz Spec GT, which basically has a Single Carby with the longer inlet manifold. Not much different from a GL. Personally, my Yellow GL from Ebay 2 months ago is in better condition and if you remember, I paid ~$2K. But this one does have the GT Compliance Badge and other GT Badges. Larry (From the Auctions) sent me 2 extra pics, but they do not what to attach currently. I'll post them when I can.Note: (To Mike) I cannot upload single jpg images to this message. Since your server move, have others been sucessful? Or is there are problem?
