December 29, 200420 yr comment_106550 Make sure you request the top row if you are going by open carrier. Some shippers will do it for no additional charge. I have shipped a number of cars and the cars on the bottom get all the road debris thrown on them. They also get all the oil, gas, transmission fluid that may be leaking from the cars above. My last car(240z) I had shipped from Ca to Ma. I had it on the top row and it was pretty dirty but the cars below were a mess. There was an 40's Caddillac on the top that had been leaking something and the cars were covered with it. Don't forget that your car may be on the truck for up to two weeks. December 29, 200420 yr comment_106551 I used DAS last time and was happy with them. Don't forget to have cash or money order to give to the driver upon delivery. He showed up on a Sunday and I had to scramble to dig up the cash.
