Posted January 3, 200520 yr comment_107053 Looking to get a set of inexpensive (read: cheap) chrome steel wheels for the Z. Just a little something until I decide to drop the money on a set of Panasports. Back in High School I bought a set of wheels from Summit for like $40-$45 each. I'd actually like the same set but in Z size, but they don't seem to carry them anymore. I can't remember the brand or model name either. These were a simulated 2 piece wheel chrome steel wheel with 5 triangle holes. If anybody knows where to get a cheap set of chrome wheels let me know.ThanksNate Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14521-looking-for-inexpensive-wheels/ Share on other sites

January 3, 200520 yr comment_107152 Try Diamond racing wheels or Circle racing wheels. They can make any back space and bolt pattern you need for aroung $65. I have a set of 15x7 with a 2.5" back space. $50 + shipping. The only problem could be the back space, they will stick out past the fender so you would need fender flares to use them. January 3, 200520 yr comment_107153 Use 4" backspacing for 7" wide wheels (with stock diameter springs). Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14521-looking-for-inexpensive-wheels/#findComment-107153 Share on other sites
January 4, 200520 yr comment_107177 Have any interest in a set of (4) OEM steel rims from a 75Z? (standard 4 bolt pattern of course) Would need to be blasted and painted, but would hold you over until you get the Panasports. Make me an offer I can't refuse!! That's what I want to get (Panasports) when I get to that stage of the rebuild/restoration...webdawg1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14521-looking-for-inexpensive-wheels/#findComment-107177 Share on other sites
January 8, 200520 yr Author comment_107830 Webdawg, are the stock steel '75's just plain steel wheels? If so, then no thank you. If they aren't plain wheels let me know what they look like, you are in driving distance. ALSO... INF has these wheels on his car, anyone know anything else about them (what year) and possibly have any they want to get rid of? I found the wheels I was originally talking about. Cragar makes them too. Having problems finding a local shop that can get them. I've posted a pick below.
