Having trouble finding an engine

I was planning on doing an L28 ZX Turbo engine swap in my 260z but i've been having a rough time finding a donor car or even an engine. My plan was to find some rust bucket on e-bay or in a local junkyard and buy the entire car and salvage more than just the engine, wiring harness, trans, ect, but also the front brake (complete with calipers, master cylinder [will the stock 260z MC work with 280zx front brakes? I don't see why not, and a new MC wouldn't hurt :) ]) and go from there, but no local junkyards have any TURBO 280zx's. I have found 2 beaten 280zx NA's, one was about 900 bucks because it still ran and drove and prob would have passed emissions. The other was 350 bucks or something- it had been in the junkyard for over a year the guy said and he doubted the engine was any good at all, plus it was NA so it was no good to me! I checked e-bay and have come up dry as well. I was going to buy this 1983 280zx turbo off a friend of a friends- the engine was tip-top and boosted great, only the floorboards were rusted out and the roof had a bowling ball-sized hole in it. Well, the deal almost went through for about $800 bucks until my loudmouth friend told him that I just wanted the engine for my car and was going to salvage the rest of the 280zx for parts- it almost brough the guy to tears like I was gonna knife his kid. So now I'm back step 1, maybe I'll just get a 45 doce triple setup and forged pistons in my L26 and go from there. All hope is lost!!!

Take $800 bucks in cash, go to the guys house and wave it in his face. See if that changes his mind about selling his crap rusted out fat zx.

Bye the way, not many parts on the zx will be any use for the 260z.
